I feel the most important part of what makes Megan a truly unique and valuable voice in academics is her capacity to be honest. She generates research that weaves emotion into her analysis and findings. She never forgets that the data she is using represents the thoughts and feelings of people. She brings an empathy to research that is distinct in my experience of supervising master's students.
